SHOWDOWN Inside the Ropes

Singapore's first White-Collar Kickboxing & Boxing Event

Organised by PUREdetails, one of the original promoters of White-collar and professional boxing in Singapore.

Supporting the Bone Marrow Donors Program (BMDP) charity http://www.bmdp.org.

The first SHOWDOWN event will be now be on 18th September 2009, Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.

Inside the Ropes
16 guys & girls, 12 weeks hard training - ready to do battle in one big fight night for themselves and for the charities of their choice.

The event is an amateur boxing exhibition under traditional white-collar rules over 3 x 2 min rounds.

All-comers welcome from beginners to more skilled amateur athletes - regular guys & girls learning to box or kickbox, the majority are newcomers to the sport having never put on a glove in their life. Prior to the event, regular training sessions will be held on skills, fitness, sparring and all the other attributes required to be a competent contestant. Match ups are based strictly on skill, experience, age and weight to ensure fair and competitive bouts.

Seconds Out
If you think you have what it takes to step into the ring and box in front of an audience of your friends, family and neighbours and maybe also gain a little adulation doing so, then step right up and register. Here is your chance.
